Google with it’s satellite images which where real time and true color where always having a upper hand on Microsoft’s virtual Earth. The maps provide by Google where best virtual maps which where provided up till now. You should be happy to know that Microsoft is not left far behind. Microsoft has unveiled its new model with a purposeful business touch to it. Microsoft has an application that combines local search with maps and aerial photography in the three dimensional format the name of this application is beta.

News map: This application is concerned with News. If you want to load news then first you have to click on that country and news for the country is loaded on the page automatically. For example let us consider United States of America. First you have to zoom in on level then click on the state this will load news for the state.
Similarly zooming on the city and clicking on it will automatically load the news for you. Currently state level news for only a few countries is given namely U.S.A, UK, Canada, Australia and South Africa. If you want to change the location then zooming out again will load the news at the appropriate location you want.

Virtual Globe :
Virtual Globe is a three dimensional soft ware model of the Earth. It is a very flexible option it can be simple as well as a sophisticated tool at the same time depending on the applications of the users. It can be integrated interface which provide intuitive access to GIS and it can be just a simple inexpensive globe in a typical classroom.

New broad casts platform was launched using Virtual Earth now you guess which that application was which used the Virtual Earth to launch their broadcast platform. It is none other than Weather Central. These are very good broad casters they now are equipped with other option to display three dimensional Maps, aerial photos, stories etc. In their promotional video which they showcased in Las Vegas this year the most important feature of this showcase was that it was running nonstop in their booths. It can also integrate with other broadcasts very easily.

The features of virtual Earth are many but we are going to discuss these features with the point of view of Geo coding, online communities, live search maps.
Geo coding:
The meaning of Geo coding is Geospatial Entity Object code. This sounds very complicated to most of the people so to put it in simple terms so that everybody can understand is that it is a time space stamp used to mark any Event or object in the material world. This is possible because every thing is displayed in latitude, longitude and elevation the elevation is not widely in use. Plus time and date data is also available.

This application is concerned with the interaction of maps. In Virtual Earth you will encounter many maps. So SDK application allows you to interact with these maps for your convenience. This application also has the ability to display the source code of each task-based action.

The Las Vegas-Weather central Inc which is famous all over the world to provide state of art broadcast weather solutions has announced its strategic alliance with Microsoft.
The main features of this alliance is that it integrates world wide aerial, satellite imagery and mapping technology which is of course provided by Microsoft Virtual Earth.
These images, mapping technology provided by Microsoft is to be loaded in the Weather central‘s three dimensional software applications which are present on air.

One of the prominent things that sets Microsoft Virtual Earth apart from other online mapping applications which is known as bird’s eye view it is officially called as Oblique imagery. In this article we are going to discuss the latest application which Microsoft Virtual Earth has launched. It is the beta version of Virtual Earth Maps. It offers the users with lot of utilities like aerial imagery, maps and yellow pages data. It is designed to allow users search the specific locations of United States of America. For example, the users can search anything by just entering the address and can see maps an aerial photograph or an aerial photo overlaid with highway labels. On the upper left of the site, you can see the information related to business and other sites, which is located in a collapsible window.
