Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

The Microsoft would provide you a temporary license if you abide by these rules.

The live search maps provide a number of options for the users. The users can use them freely. However, they must abide by the rules of conduct for its use.

Some of the things that the users should follow while posting or transferring any data, to the live search maps or, to a third party using the live search maps.

a) It should not aim at spreading any ill message about any particular gender, caste, religion, race, country, or group of people. This data should not in any way harm any particular group of people.

Centering the map on a particular point on the collection

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

While browsing through the maps it is very important that you should be able to focus of fix the maps at particular points of your interest. This is very important as while searching the maps you hold the map with the click of the mouse and then drag it in the direction in which you want to go. However, sometimes if the mouse if not in good condition then even if you do not want the map moves along with the pointer of your mouse. This proves to be very troublesome when you try to go from one place to other.

The Virtual Earth introduction

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

The Virtual Earth is like an online atlas having the maps of the different region of the earth. However in this atlas the difference is that it is interactive, i.e. we can zoom in and out of any place on these maps. It has been developed and owned by Microsoft. It is free and you can use it without even needing to download it on your computer. You can just access the Virtual Earth through the internet and start using them.

We are not the company "Google" which is a registered trademark. We are a non affiliated 3rd party who is providing no cost tips, advice and troubleshooting for various software included in the "Google Software Pack".

I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
