Share Ware: The satellite program is share ware. You can download and try the software as long as you wish. In demonstration mode, some features have been disabled. If you like the software then you have to register online for 29.95 dollars. Once you register yourself, you will get a serial number that will certainly unlock the restrictions of the demonstration version. The software does not work on Earth browser. That is why your computer should have either Windows XP/2000 or Mac OS X. Although the software will operate on 256 MB RAM, 512 MB of RAM is recommended.

Is it possible to use the 1.2e cache in 1.3e?
Yes it is possible. The procedure for doing so is as given under.
1. First of all download the appropriate location file.
2. when you do this, unzip it into your NASA folder. This would make it easy to find it later.
3. After this you need to copy the cache folders, of 1.2e, which are to be converted.
These are as follows.
a) \NASA\World Wind v1.2\Cache\Earth\High-Resolution Terrain Mapped Imagery\JPL Global Landsat Mosaic (False-Color Bands - Panshapened)
b) \NASA\World Wind v1.2\Cache\Earth\High-Resolution Terrain Mapped Imagery\JPL Global Landsat Mosaic (Visible Bands - Panshapened)
