Virtual Earth, the software released by Microsoft is the answer to other satellite programs. The software has some unique features that distinguish it from other software programs. This navigational heavyweight master of world mapping has gained immense popularity in recent years. This software application integrates local search with aerial photography and maps. It has included satellite imagery in its search results.
With virtual Earth software, the display is primarily focused around aerial views and maps. You can easily zoom in and out of images or maps. You can also drag the images within the display. The basic search interface of virtual Earth is very similar to the MSN's local search with “where” and “what” forms so that you can specify for what you are looking for.

When you start Google Earth for the first time, there is an empty 'my places' folder for holding places that you wish to save. Items that are located in places panel but are not saved in my places folder are in temporary places folder. These items are not available in next Google Earth session if these items are not saved in My places folder. You can make use of Places panel for organizing and saving places that you often visit.
Creating a place mark: Suppose you intend to create a place mark for the Ayers Rock that is in Australia. Follow the instructions given below for adding a place mark to any place or spot in 3D viewer.

For integrating customer identification feature of virtual Earth platform into the web based application, you will have to use VE platform credentials for requesting a token. The token has encrypted information including VE developer account ID and IP address of end client. Token is valid only for the duration that is specified in initial request, starting from time token request is made from the server. You will have to set this token in map control instance loaded into client's browser. All requests that are made to VE from the application are then recognized as requests.
VE platform then logs these requests and you can see VE platform reports on VE platform customer services site.
This is a preview of
Using customer identification of Virtual Earth

Earth 3D is designed as a QT based C++ program, which runs on platforms such as Linux, Mac OS X and windows. This program takes some efforts so hive support for these three platforms. We will get the difficulties when we try to include the needed QT libraries into Mac OS X package. However, new java version has released which works in a fast way therefore it is good for actual openGL based 3D graphics.
By making use of this new java version, you can make some improvements in order to work in a fast way.

We are not the company "Google" which is a registered trademark. We are a non affiliated 3rd party who is providing no cost tips, advice and troubleshooting for various software included in the "Google Software Pack".
I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
