Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

The 'Layers' feature in Google Earth provides different data points of interest that you can choose for displaying over the viewing area. These include terrain, road, map, points of interest and also building data.

Here are some tips on how to use points of interest (POIs)

Follow these steps if you want to view a point of interest in the viewing region.

This is possible by expanding size of your viewer. Or by zooming out. You can expand the viewer by using maximize window control or using the mouse you can drag the size of your window.

I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
