Saving, deleting and places data in Google Earth

Saving places data: You can now save entire folders, shapes, and even place marks to your machine's hard drive. The folder or place mark file is saved as a KMZ file, which can be opened at any time. You may want to save data for reasons given below:

1] You wish to share saved data with some other Google Earth users: It is possible to email any folder, shape or place mark to Google Earth users from within the Google Earth. Any KMZ file that is located on your machine can be sent via mail to Google Earth users. In addition, you can also post KMZ files to Google Earth BBS from where other Google Earth user can see the information. You can also serve the KMZ file on your web server.

Steps to record movies in Google Earth

Creating movies is a graphics intensive and memory intensive process. Before you start recording movies, make sure that not all multiple large applications are running on your machine during recording. You will have to disable both pop up blockers and screen savers.

Step to record movies are as follows:

1] From tools menu, choose 'movie maker'. Moviemaker dialog box will appear

2] From compression format selector, select desired compression format for the movie.

In case users want movie formats other than Quick time or Windows media video, check 'advanced ' checkbox and then select the format. In case you desire to choose another movie format, standard AVI compression is only available. As AVI file formats are uncompressed, it will result only in large files.

Why does the images blurry up?

Check the streaming indicator if it has reached 100%. This indicator is displayed at the bottom of the image. 100% indicates that the image download is complete. In such a case, ideally you should be able to view the complete and clear image. However, if edge is blurred, it is possible that Google Earth may not be having high resolution data for that location.

Another reason which can give rise to this problem is that the images for some areas appear blurred or discolored, due to reasons like cloud cover, etc.
