These organizations have given permission to access their data. Earth 3D is now available as binary for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux under GPL license. The program has many amazing features. This satellite program has many useful and interesting datasets that are available in Earth browser tab of control window. There are many groupings of data sets, first group is base datasets, and they contain real time data. You will also find global weather forecasts for continental US. Finally, there are settings for controlling various viewing options.

Base datasets:

Weather: Weather data is now updated hourly. It is shown as a collection of current condition icons that are across the globe. There is an arrow on weather dataset. When you turn it down it will reveal cities based on state, province, country, or continent. You can also add a city in this data set and also set zoom level for weather icon.
