What is the procedure that is required to uninstall Google Earth using Mac?
This can be done with a very simple procedure. Just dragging the Google Earth icon, from the desktop and putting it in to the trash will uninstall it. Thus, for this, there is no need of using any program as Uninstaller.
Alternatively, for removal the whole Google Earth can be done, following the bellow given steps.
1 Click on the “Finder” option.
2 Using it find out and open the “Home Directory” which has your user ID.
3 In this directory delete all the files in the “library” > “Caches” > “Google Earth”.
In the same way also delete the files from the “Library” > “Application” > “Support” > “Google Earth”.
Thus removing all the files related to the Google Earth will remove it completely from the system.
How to access the Google Earth Plus
a)After downloading the “Google Earth Plus”, click on the file “Google Installer.exe”. Just doing this much will install the program.
b) After this, you can open the Google Earth program. When you open the Google Earth program, it should display a popup on the screen. If this does not appear, the Google Earth may need an up-gradation. For this, go to the “Help” menu. From there you can upgrade the Google Earth Plus. Then, after the up-gradation of the version, the login screen will appear. In this login screen, the username or email address and the license key should be entered. However, it should be remembered that the license should be entered correctly. Also, bear in mind that the case of the license key should be mentioned correctly.
What is the size of the Google Earth executables?
For windows: The size of the Google Earth and Google Earth Plus is the same. It is about 14.3 MB. The size of the Google Earth Pro is larger and it is about 19.4 MB.
For Mac: Google Earth and Google Earth Plus have the size of 29.6 MB. Google Earth Pro is of 30.2 MB.
Besides, the file size of the Google Earth Download Image for Linux is 20.6MB.
What is the procedure for installation of Google Earth on Mac?
When the Google Earth application is downloaded; it will appear in the download directory, in the form of .dmg file. After this holding the Ctrl and click on it. On clicking, it will display the software licensing agreement. If you abide by the terms that it contains, click on the option to agree. On doing so, it will display the Google Earth Disk Image. Again, hold down the control key and click on this ‘Disk Image’. This would again open a new window containing the Google Earth globe icon.
This icon can be dragged and placed anywhere on the system. However, the Google Earth recommends that it should be dragged and dropped either on the “Applications” folder or the applications dock.
Is there any version of Google Earth especially for Mac?
The Google Earth has recently released a version especially for Mac. This can be downloaded from the official website of Google Earth. For this version too, you just have to download it and you can start using it.
