Tracking Bird Movement
Valery Hronusov who is a member of the Google Earth Community has developed this file which shows the migration patterns of birds. These patterns are available fo the migratory birds of a number species across Europe and Asia. This file is very useful for monitoring the welfare of these bird species. The migration of birds can also have other effects like spread of communicable diseases from one region to other. Therefore knowing about their migration becomes very important.
Commission for Environmental Cooperation
This commission is established under the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (CEC). It was aimed to prepare a platform through which Canada, the United States and Mexico could work together on a variety of environmental concerns.

Hurricane Katrina
You must be aware that in August 2005, a Hurricane Katrina struck the gulf of Mexico. It was quite devastating and it caused the death of about 2000 people and a damage of billions of dollars. Gerardo Paz who is a member of the Google Earth Community, has put together a geographical representation of energy consumption in the year 2004. you can view four polygons for every country. These polygons represent the comparisons between the oil, coal, natural gas, hydroelectric and nuclear consumption. Knowing the consumption of energy from different sources for different countries is very interesting.
Earth watch Expeditions
These are the Earth watch expeditions of 104 volunteers. You can watch them virtually in Google Earth. They cover different types of expeditions like the Sweetwater's rhinos expedition, expedition covering lemur activity in Madagascar, expedition covering the impact of climate change on grey whale populations in Mexico and Canada. You can also know, where new expeditions are taking place.
Cornwall Wildlife Reserves
This is a collection of data about different nature reserves. It was created by a volunteer who worked at the Cornwall Wildlife Trust in South West England. You can know about different features of these reserves. Moreover you can also view plans for these reserves. These plans are included in the form of overlays for showing the layout of these reserves.
Great Green Buildings
You can view the buildings in United States that have been awarded the highest level of certification from Department of Energy. For viewing them you just have to click the option “View 3D model in Google Earth”.

The Yosemite national Park, which is located in California, is adorned with beautiful scenery. Millions of people visit this National Park.
