There is a time limit for subscription after which it expires. However, Google Earth does not automatically extend or renews a subscription. The data and imagery is not real time however, it is quite up to date. You can also share your personal good quality data with others, through Google Earth.
Cancelling your Google subscription

Google Earth will prorate your refunds according to the number of months for which you have used the subscription. If you are in a foreign country i.e. outside United States your, refunds would be according to its exchange rates.
You should note that Google Earth does not automatically renew any annual subscription. Every subscription has an expiration period of about one year from the time you purchase it successfully.
