Google Earth’s General information
Google Earth Pro has a number of additional features. In all, there are 6 support resources for the different versions of Google Earth. However all of them are not available for all versions and in all languages.
If you want to use Google Earth for your business purposes Google Earth Pro is a perfect version for you.
The additional features of Pro are as given under.
An area-measurement tool(this tool is useful for measuring areas in square feet, acres, miles, radii, etc.)
Data importing features allows you to ingest up to 2500 locations with reference to the address or longitude and latitude coordinates.
It has very high resolution printing and saving capabilities, because of which larger and clearer printouts (up to 4,800 pixels) are possible.
Movie marker, is a feature through which you can export movies of tours and zooms.
GIS data import is a feature because through which you can drag and drop SHP files, GeoTiffs, etc.
premium printing is a feature because of which you are able to print high resolution images up to 11” x 17” (4,800 pixels)
customer support through email and chat.
Does Google Earth have any online help resources?
Yes Google Earth has three online help resources which you use.
The first one is Google Earth Help Group
you can find answers to your questions through Google Earth Help Group. These answers are provided by other users. At this resource you can post you a question for which you need assistance for, and also discuss your support questions.
Google Earth Help Center
Here you will get answers to questions like how to login or retrieve your login details, fix errors and much more.
Google Earth User Guide
Here you can explore the user guide a know about just anything, from getting started with Google Earth to troubleshooting.
What are the technical support options for my version?
For Google Earth free version the technical support options available are Help Center, User Guide and Help Group.
For Google Earth Plus Email for login issues only is an additional option.
Google Earth procedure has two additional options which are Email for all technical issues and chat.
All the options discussed above are available in English language. However, for other languages the available options vary. In all 25 languages are available for the different support options. They are as follows.
English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish (Spain), Chinese, Dutch, Arabic, Czech, Hebrew, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Turkish, Danish, Finish, Indonesian, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Spanish (Latin America), Swedish, and Thai.
English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish (Spain), Chinese (Traditional), are the languages for which, apart from chat all other options are available. For Dutch language, chat and Help group is not available.
For Arabic, Czech, Hebrew, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Turkish, Help Center and User Guide are available.
For Danish, Finnish, Indonesian, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Spanish (Latin America), Swedish, and Thai only user guide and FAQ from help center are available.
If your language is not covered at this moment there is no reason to worry as Google Earth is constantly expanding across additional languages as well.
