Keeping SketchUp Model in Google Earth

How to keep or delete created models that are placed in Google earth?

You can delete or keep models in SketchUp with the help of many different methods. When a user send, uploads share models among their friends, its nothing but keeping happy yourself. Many times user must save the model on his or her PC so that it can be reuse frequently. Or if the model is useless, it should be deleted form the Google Earth so that you can use the space of the Google Earth for your different model. Therefore, if you want to delete your model from Google earth then first you need to download that on your local machine that too in Google SketchUp. Once you downloaded the model there are two methods using which you can delete the model in instance.

Share model via 3D Warehouse:

This is very simple method of sharing models among the favorites. You can also keep model in Google earth when you share with others. Before sharing models with others you have to keep it in the Google earth so that you will realize whether model is correct what you wanted. There are chances of mistakes made consciously and unconsciously while working with Google SketchUp. That is why, you should take enough time to correct your model and to improve mistakes in your model and to make it attractive whichever you want. First, open your model in SketchUp and click on the share model button to share your model with your favorites. But you have to keep in mind that if your model has location. You have to make sure about few things before you share you sketch up model with your friends and groups. Otherwise your model may not effective as it should be.

Before placing model in Google earth you have to make sure that 3D terrain layer is on in Google SketchUp and it is placed correctly in the SketchUp. If you do not place it correctly, your model might loose its clear appearance as well as the location, and may get hide under the surface in Google Earth. Move it according to your position. It is because it should you have seemed that you are looking down at the model. After placing model in sketch up if you want to share that first you have to make sure that the warehouse is displaying your model correctly.

If you are using SketchUp pro 5, if you have changed the orientation of your axes in the model SketchUp you must have to reset them to default the changes before sharing it in the Google Earth. If you do not reset them, the model will not be oriented correctly when you viewed in Google Earth. You can also add textures if you like. The Google earth provides texture for your model. In addition, one thing you must have to make sure that you are share models from the current version of the Google SketchUp Pro 6. This is simple method placing or keeping your model in the Google Earth.
