Saving places, images, Search Results and printing them
After performing a search, listing results panel will appear below search button. The search term that you enter becomes the title for that folder that contains top ten results within it. You can also collapse a search folder by simply clicking on minus icon that is next to search term. You can revisit search results by double clicking on item in search list. When you click on clear button, the search results in the listing get cleared.
When you log out of this software (Google Earth) search items are automatically cleared. However, search results can also be saved for upcoming Google Earth sessions in many ways given below:
1] Drag an item from search results panel and then drop it to any folder within Places panel. You should then release the item and place it in new location.
2] Right click on the search result in 3D viewer or listing and then choose save from pop up menu.
3] You can also make use of copy feature. Right click on a result listing in search panel and then select copy from pop menu. Right click on the folder in places panels where you would like to save search result and then choose paste from pop up menu for pasting the search result in the new location. Contents of entire search results can be saved to Places panel by simply selecting the folder that contains your search result and then drag it to the location you want. Once you save the search result, you can also change its location, title, and description. The feature is available in both Google Earth EC and Pro users.
Saving images: This feature (saving images) is available in Google Earth EC and Google Earth Pro. Click on file > save and then click on save option for saving the current view as image file in your machine's drive. The image is then saved with visible borders, place marks or any other layer information that is visible in 3D viewer.
The resolutions can be saved in resolutions given below:
