Some basic questions and guidelines on Google Earth product

Now a day, Google earth is become very common. So many people are getting familiar with the help of Google earth. So, to run the Google earth on your computer it is very necessary to upgrade your computer first. So, the minimum requirements you should need to have on computer is, you should have Windows XP or 2000 should be loaded on your computer. But, it should be a Pentium 3 with 500 MHz. The memory should be 128 RAM. The disc space required is 400MB and the speed 128Kbits per second. It is very necessary for your system that, it has 3 Dimensional capable video cards with 16Mbytes of VRAM. And finally the screen should be 1024x768, "16-bit High Color". So, this is the first basic requirement.

Recommended configuration should be Microsoft windows XP and Pentium 4 2.4GHz+ or AMD 2400xp+ with memory 512M RAM. 2GB of free disc space is needed with 768 Kbits per second or more Internet speed. 3 Dimension capable video card with 32 MB of VRAM or greater along with the 1280x1024, "32-bit True Color" screen should be available. In some of the cases, Google earth does not work with the card like ATI XPERT, ATI Rage Mobility and ATI 3D Rage.

The non subscription version has to be downloaded on a separate or on a specific computer. After looking for the purchased subscription information, Google installs Google earth plus on the machine. Most of the times, if the system is not well configured; Google earth gives problem to run on your computer. So, in most of the cases, Google earth does not work on 98SE, 98 and ME version of Windows. Google earth only works with Windows XP as well as with windows 2000.

Presently at the moment only two formats are supported by the Google earth named as the DDD and DMS. Google earth is also supports the two NSEW directional suffixes and also the +/- directional prefix. At the time of inserting the coordinate pairs, it is very necessary to take care to insert it as [latitude, longitude] and not the other way round. In some of the cases, someone really wants to import coordinate pairs in any other formats, so, these formats should be first converted into one of the supported formats that is mentioned above.

In some of the cases, the user is not able to find out the point feature in the Measure tool. So, at the moment point feature has been removed from the Measure tool. This data can be read in the navigation console which is located on the left side. A place mark can also be created. So, to create it, you just have to go advanced tab and then just select the View. You can easily able to see the latitude and longitude.

In some of the cases, if you are using the Internet Explorer, just follow the simple steps to open the Google earth in a new window. And then go to the Tools option in Microsoft windows then click on the Internet Options and select the Advanced and got to Browsing. Uncheck the box next to “Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" and then say Ok.
