Tour Japan in 10 minutes

Want to tour Japan in ten minutes? Yes, it is possible now. Nothing is impossible in today’s world with latest technologies and researches being carried on. Google has created and released a new layer for the Google Earth that is being referred as Japan Tourism. You can find this layer in Gallery, and then go to Travel and Tourism and in that select Japan Tourism. As you zoom over Japan, you will find placemarks appearing with all the necessary information on the most ell known sites of tourism.

A new Google Earth layer below the Travel and Tourism folder in Gallery has been launched along with the webcam travel announcement. The National Tourist Organization of Japan worked in collaboration with the Google Japan office and developed a Japan Tourism layer. This layer contains handy and a rich source of information regarding the attractions and landmarks throughout Japan. It includes all the details like the temples of Kyoto, the busy streets of Tokyo, clear blue waters of Okinawa, etc. you can enter into any part of Japan by just turning on this layer. Add spice to your tourism by using other interesting layers along with it such as “Panoramio, 3 D buildings or Kyoto Tourism and get a head start for planning your trip.

Google has now pushed the new street imagery for mostly of the countries. These countries are France, Australia and Japan. These street views in Google earth show the routes if you want to tour that particular country. Now the new street view imagery will be available to you in Google earth or Google maps. If you are using Google earth, turn on the layer of Street View and zoom into Japan. The more closer you go, you will be able to view a number of gold colored camera placemarks. If you want to see the Street View of a particular location, then click on that placemark to see its detailed image.

Google Earth enables you to experience the views of the streets as if you are inside the spherical photo. This is done with the PhotoViewer feature. It offers you first hand experience, as if you are present there. You can click on a particular image to get flown into that image. You can also see the new street views by using the Google maps designed for Japan.

In Google Earth, you can see the three dimensional models of the building all over in Japan. Turn on the layer of “3D Buildings” in Google Earth and then select a particular city that you want to see. For example, turn the “3D Buildings” layer on, then go to “Tokyo, Japan” to see it. All the cities in Japan have 3D buildings. Japanese cities get 3D buildings in Google Earth.

These advancements in Google Earth have helped mankind enjoy the spices of nature without actually being there. This technology, thus allows all children, old people, sick people, women, etc to visit the world and explore it in their own way to get maximum information about it.

I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
