Techniques in SketchUp for Geo-Business

What I to do to hide the Google Terrain Images in SketchUp?

When you use Current View Feature you are importing tow terrain images. One is 3D and second is 2D images. Each image is locked and has special unique layer connected with it. The 2 D images are known as “Google Earth Snapshot” and the 3D images are named as “Google Earth Terrain” you can see only one image layers at a time.

By clicking on “Toggle Terrain” button you can toggle between tow layers. You can also hide terrain images that you viewing currently using simple procedure that is given bellow. Open “Window” menu that is in the SketchUp and follow “Layers”.

It will open a layer dialogue box click on “Visible” option to clear the layers and check box for the visible Google Earth Terrain image layer. The image will be hidden quickly. But keep in mind that you should not be unlocked the Google earth terrain image and their layers.

And you cannot place any geometry on the layers. If you try to place geometry on those layers will not be displayed when you place your model into Google Earth. It means model will not be displayed perfectly and missed your design.

How I ca sew up multiple terrain images?

You often get good quality model and sketches in the Google Earth. But there is a problem that you often face when you seeing the entire models at a time in the Google Earth. Without clicking individual colors you can not see or view the individual model. And this procedure takes time.

Second thing you cannot compare the models closely. And therefore you viewing each model become a kind of irritation. But Google SketchUp has brought good news for every user. Now you can easily view all models at a time from Google Earth into SketchUp. It is very simple method avoids irritation saves time and gives pleasure to the users.

Fly down in the Google Earth so that you are looking straight down at the location. And click on “Get Current View” in SketchUp. Com to Google Earth back and move the earth in order to look straight down at a slightly different point. Go to SketchUp again and click “Get Current View”. The new images are associated with already existed images.

It means you can see both current placed and old images too. Sometimes they may overlap. But it doesn’t matter. That’s fine. And you can view all images at a time from Google Earth in SketchUp. But the thing remains about downloading Google Earth SketchUp. After downloading installation you will be free to use it for your profession.
