The Google earth’s database updating is done once in two to three years approximately. At present the most of imagery is one to three year old. Actually Google Earth is now updating its imagery on regular basis. So you may get the latest imagery for some regions. Q. How to view 3D images in Google Earth?

Google Earth’s imagery details works on different layers. These layers are actually known as KML i.e. keyhole mapping language. Enabling these layers one is able to view details of the area in which the user is interested. These layers can be accessed from the layer panel situated at the left side of the Google Earth window. Here you will find different layers. Some layers will enable you to view different building like schools, shopping malls, government buildings etc. If you are interested in watching 3D images of buildings you just need to enable 3D building layers from this layer panel. You can also enable road layer so to get a view of alleys and internal linking roads of particular city.

Being an 3D imagery software Google Earth uses internet connection to load different data images accessed from satellites. The clarity of these images is entirely depends on the speed of you internet connection. The indicator situated at the bottom of the window gives denotes the streaming level of the Google Earth. The 100% of this streaming indicator means Google Earth has downloaded all the available data from the internet. Sometime even of the streaming level is 100%, the imagery is not clear. If your in a area which is not listed in Google earth, you imagery will not get clear at all. Then you need to see your internet connection.

Q. Why some time address in Google Earth looks inaccurate?

Google Earth uploads the satellite imagery from the selected regions on the earth. So if you are not listed in Google Earth then you will not be able to find detailed information about the area. So if you are looking of r a particular address in that area then Google Earth is unable to lookout such address. So whenever you type an address in search bar be sure that you are searching an address from the area listed in Google earth’s database.

Q. Does Google Earth shows real time data to users?

No, Google Earth does not display real time data to users. Actually it is practically impossible to show real time data. Because, Google Earth is a virtual imagery software that uses satellite imagery. It means what you see in Google Earth are simply images and nothe live telecast of certain areas. More over the data collected is not real time in nature. So Google Earth shows only images to its users.
