What is the function of 3 D Warehouse?
The basic function of the 3 D Warehouse is to let the user look for share and also save 3 D models. The user can freely search for models but if you wish to submit a model then you have to sign in with your Google Account. Once that is done then the models can be grouped and also labeled so that other users can also see them. This is possible with the help of 3 D collections feature. Any models having a location can be downloaded in Google earth from the 3 D warehouse. You will see the Download to Google earth option. If you want to download any model from 3 D Warehouse using Sketch Up then follow these steps. Go to the "Get Models" button in Sketch Up. The 3 D Warehouse can be used to view popular as well as uploaded models. You can also find models on the basis of name description location etc. the moment you see any model you like just click on it to see the larger view. Click on the version of earth you are using. You will see Google earth fly in to the location. The model is then displayed.
I want to share models via Ware house. How do I share these models?
If you want to share any models first you should see whether your models comply with the 3 D Warehouse Content policies and the 3 D Warehouse Terms of service. When your model is created just save it. Click on File then on "3D Warehouse" and then on "Share model." Next you need to sign in with your Google Account. When you come to the "Upload to 3D Warehouse" page, you need to write a title and a description for the model. It is optional to add a web address to the website, and also tags. After the whole info has been added you need to click on Upload.

The number of polygons will decide the model complexity indicator. If there are many polygons it will be indicated as Heavy. This puts lot of demands on your computer. Thus Google earth will run slower than expected when this model is getting displayed.
What is the meaning of bread crumbs?
