This Model made by you when placed in Google earth is visible only to you till you don’t share it with others. So, you need it to put in 3D Warehouse. For sharing of Model its needed to be uploaded in 3D Warehouse.
We can even download 3D Warehouse Models from Google earth. But, the model that seems to be colored in Google earth seems to be in black and white in Sketchup. Although it doesn’t effects, because once you place your colored model in GoogleEarth it is displayed in original color.
The button “Toggle terrain” is used to view the 3D image. And always be sure to add a basement to your terrain( model) so that it can sit stable on the slope ground.
The button “Get current view” is to take a snap shot of the terrain that is displayed in Google earth. (The Button looks like a Google earth icon and is shown as a yellow arrow pointing right.
Always be sure that the Sketchup is on before you start for Google Earth. It will enhance the speed of Sketch up.
