Basic issues regarding NASA World Wind

Historic issue tracking systems:

Formerly World Wind used Source Forge has an issue tracker. This was to track the bugs and even the feature requests. Note that World Wind no longer utilizes them. A huge amount of Source Forge tracker systems are not available in World Wind Issues to see that the issues during the period of Forge tracker use the option of verification too. When you verify these options then you can make a note of these issues in the pages below. This is very necessary step for you to do since others can add the same issues to the tracker system.

How to utilize Jira to create/update World Wind issues:

Note that before utilizing Jira you must create or update a World Wind issue first. So if you want to review then you can use the Jira Help page which is available.

How to create an issue:

To create an issue first you have to log on to the World Wind issues page and you can either log in or you also use a different setup account. This account should be personal in use.

In the next step go to the menu and in the top left hand side spot of the page and choose “Create new Issue” option. Some precautions to be taken while performing these steps are as follows: Make certain that you can decide on the correct project and nature of the issue.

The step two which you have to take is really divided into a number of steps they are as follows:

Summary: This step consists of writing the brief summary of the bug you have encountered or task which you have performed or which you have come across a new feature or an improvement which you have made. The summary which you create on any of the options or topics is used when Jira will mail it to Issues for updates.

Priority: Priority this reflects the overall priority of any issue you have chosen but it note that your personal priorities will not be entertained here.

Due Date:

This option can be left blank it is not necessary to fill it since recently it is not in utilization.

Component/ Components: If there is such a case in that you are in doldrums for what to choose then you can also select more than one component.

Affects Version/Versions:

This is mainly in use when you are entering a Bug you can select the nearby edition with respect to one you are using when you currently using. When you see the bug for other types of issues you can select unknown.

Fix version or versions:

For this option you do not have to select any ting with respect to this field. You are free to select unknown option too. This field can be used mainly for updating an issue which already exists. This feature does not apply when creating an issue.

Assign To:

If you are entering any type of issue then if you want to track work that you are going to do is then click the option assign to me. If you are creating an issue with respect to a document which has been already assigned as a fixed then you can select the name from the list. If you aren’t certain about this then you can just leave it as it is.

For creating an issue you can also utilize the other available options like Environment, description and keywords too.

I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
