Chase away the troubles in Google earth with Troubleshooting
The small Google earth globe is versatile in nature. It can be used for various purposes from homeland security to engineering ands architecture. This feature alone has been responsible for new and creative ideas, which proved beneficial to many people. And you can see the whole world in minutes. You do not have to spend a huge some to fly to your favorite holiday destination. If not handled properly you may not able to use Google earth’s excellent services.
Hence you should have some knowledge of trouble shooting in Google earth. Take for example that no contact is being established with the Google servers. What is to be done then? Microsoft window users should immediately convey the problem to Google earth through the relevant mailing address. One should also check the firewall connections to make sure that the servers are not blocking over port 80. The firewall supplier or the IT administrator should be contacted immediately if you find a fault here or wish to disable the programs.
Another possibility might be that you have not checked the ‘Work offline’ option in the Internet Explorer. It is located in the file menu. Sometimes the pop up blocker is responsible, when you are unable to connect to the Google servers. Check if the router wires are properly functioning. If not then fixing them can get you connected to the Google servers.
It may also happen that your Google earth may not function after installing. Just check whether your system has the latest graphic card driver. Most of the times this is sole reason why the Google earth does not function. If you find that you do not have the latest one, you need to update the same. If you wish to use Google earth from your Laptop, you need to download the latest graphic card driver from the manufacturing company’s official web site. Same is the case with the desktop computers and PCs. In case you are not aware of the graphic card that your system uses just go to the Google web site earth.google.com/support/bin/answer.py? The graphic cards need to be installed with DirectX 8.1 or a higher configuration from Microsoft. Upgrade the cards and see how efficiently Google earth runs.
Sometimes you may see a black and green display in the windows edition. The reason for this is that GoogleEarth.exe is permitted by firewall to access port 80. Port 80 is meant for non-browser users. Google earth depends on Internet Explorer settings to function. Again in case this happens you should go and check your Internet Explorer options. In the “File” menu you find the “Work offline” option. You need to uncheck this option.
Google earth is a service developed by keeping user benefit in mind. Hence you should know atleast the basics of its troubleshooting. And most of the corrections can be done directly from the PC. In this way you will always get accurate results and the workload will be balanced.Google, Google earth, Google earth troubleshooting
