What I can do when the Google Earth displays a missing dll error message?

Displaying error massage could be a technical problem, which would deal with your computer, server and PC. If you get a missing .dll error message, first thing is reinstall the Google Earth.

Sometimes there could be installation technical problems dew to continuous changes in the software. You can also download the current version of Google earth software. Visit the official site, search new version of the software and install it on your computer.

After reinstalling current version of software and you get the same message yet, you need to update graphic card driver. And suppose, if you are using the recent version of the graphic card then try to reinstall. It is because some files could be corrupted or missed.

We would like to suggest you that if you are receiving missing messages so do not install any recent beta version of graphic card drivers. In such conditions, Google Earth does not support to any graphic card drivers which are in beta release. Different types of computers require different types of software, tools and function and so their functions are also different from each other. The best example of this issue is laptop.

Nowadays, many people are using Laptop computers. Those who use laptop computers should visit laptop manufacturers website if they face the Google Earth .dll missing message problem. There are different manufactures like Dell, Toshiba, and Sony etc. launching laptop computers.

They use different technology, however, the used technology is same but the functionally is different, so you have to approach proper manufacturer from whom you have purchased the laptop computer. It is better if you install most recent graphic card driver. And suppose if you do not about the types of graphic card drivers so you can visit official websites.

You can also ask to the manufacturers. One can install DirectX 8.1 or onward example. It should higher from Microsoft. Some OpenGL internally can wrap DirectX even though you are using it for 3D. Although Microsoft recommends DX9.0c, DirectX 8.1 could be work on your computer or laptop.

After trying all the above efforts and suffering from the same problem, you can set DirectX as default 3D. To set DirectX, follow the next steps. The setting steps are simple to set it.

Point to Start and click on the Run option. A dialogue box will be open and type a link for Google Earth "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth\googleearth.exe" set DX, for Google Earth Plus: "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth\googleearth.exe" set DX and for Google Earth Pro: "C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth Pro\googleearth.exe" without changing a single character. Finally click on the OK button to set the changes.

If you have custom installation so make sure that you must have to adjust the path. To set path go to “Start Google Earth” and set the path. The above explained tips are very useful for avoiding the problems like displaying a missing .dll error message. If still suffer from the problem you must ask to the manufacturer or visit Google Earth website for more information.
