What operating systems should be used with Google Earth for Mac?

Google Earth doesn’t supports Mac versions previous to Mac OS X 10.3.9. If your computer runs on Mac OS X 10.3.0 version you can update the software to 10.3.9 version. To upgrade select “Software Update” from the Apple Menu located at the top of the screen.

How to install Google Earth?

To install Google Earth visit the Google earth website. Next you have to download and install the software. Users can open the software automatically and use Google Earth once the download is complete. Further, the latest versions of Google Earth can also be downloaded from the relevant links on the web site

How to uninstall Google Earth?

To uninstall Google Earth try the following path.

1. Click on “Start” and go to “Settings”. Next open the “Control Panel.”

2. Further, double-click on “Add and Remove.”

3. Scroll down through the window and click on “Google Earth.”

4. Click on “Remove” option and then click ”Yes”. Lastly say ”Finish.”

In case you are still unable to uninstall Google Earth, try updating your version of InstallShield. Take care to see whether there are any corrupt files. To update InstallShield try following the given path.

1. Locate the “Instalshield” folder at C:\Program Files\Common Files.

2. Right-click on the folder and click ”Rename” option.

3. Rename the folder.

4. Close the folder and again open the Google earth link

5. Save the file on your computer.

6. Double-click on the file. You will see the “Remove” command. Select it and click ”Next.”

How to install Google Earth on Mac?

Once you have downloaded the Google Earth application, you will see it as a .dmg file in the download directory. Double-click on this .dmg icon, to see the software agreement. If you agree with terms, double-click on the Google Earth disk image. On double-clicking the image, a new window will open, which will display the Google Earth Globe icon. Though the Google Earth icon can be dragged anywhere, it is advisable to drag the icon into your application folder or in your application dock.

How to uninstall Google Earth on Mac?

To uninstall Google Earth, drag the Google Earth icon on the desktop to trash. To uninstall the application you may not required a uninstaller. Further if you want to remove all the traces of Google Earth, delete the corresponding files at /~user/Library/Application Support/Google Earth and /~user/Library/Caches/Google Earth.

I am not able to log in to the Google Earth (Free Version). What do I do?

If you are not able to login to Google Earth(Free Version) through your existing 2LT or 2 NV account, enter the password of account previous to this into the login box. Click on the Login button and you will be taken to a dialog box. Click on “Run to Google Earth in Free Mode” option and the free version will be installed.
