What is the limit of signature image size?
Ideally your signature size should relatively small. The signature image should not be more than 125 x 600 pixels and/or 35k. Then the forum will quickly load for all users.
Is it possible to attach a file to my post?
Do you have a browser Mozilla 4+ ? Then you can attach a file to the post. When the post is been previewed you can attach the file.
What are the rules for the posts?
You are not allowed to post any matter that may be offensive. It also should not be copyright protected. You are not allowed to display personal phone numbers and addresses. The forum should also not be used to make any kind of advertisements. The right to censor, to edit, to delete or otherwise modify any posted message remains with Forum manager. There is no guarantee of the authenticity of anything that is posted on the forum.
I want to edit my profile. How do I do it?
You need to click on the Menu bar. The editing options will be seen at the bottom of the next screen.
I want to edit my display preferences. How do I do it?
It is nearly the same as profile editing. But just a bit different. Just click on the Menu bar and then 'Display preferences, .....' option, which you will find in the Main Configuration. You can select your forum language. You can govern the look of the forum by the style sheet. You can also come to know how many posts there are on every page. When you save this they become default settings. These preferences may be later on posted.
Is a post's subject really very important?
The first person decides a topic and all the other reply. Once there is any reply you cannot change the topic name. Make the topic name descriptive.
What does the flashing envelope icon on the Menu bar mean?
If there are any unread Private Messages then you see the flashing envelope?
I want to know what the letters in the Received Private Messages display mean?
The letter N tells you that there an unread message. If you have replied to any message then it is denoted by R. a space tells you that there is a message that you have not replied to.
Can I get to use a spell checker?
There is no spell check available. If you do not want any spelling mistakes just check them in some other text editor. Then you can copy paste it in the forum.
I have made a mistake in my posts. What can I do?
Up to 22000 hours you can edit your own posts. In case of a substantive change, just alert the users that you have made changes. Do not inform anyone about the cosmetic changes.
I have posted in the wrong forum. What do I do?
You should let the forum administrator know about it. He or she will post it to the right forum. Google, Google earth, Google earth community
