Google chooses such examples of content, which highlights new, effective and interesting uses of KML, illustrating design principles and telling compelling stories throughout a range of topics. Its goals for doing all this are to provide exposure the groups working for public benefits. In the same way it also wants to inspire others that Google Earth can be helpful to their organizations as well.
