How to change Placemarks labels in Google Earth
When you edit a Placemark, you are able to change the label for that just by typing in the Name Field. You can even change other features of placemark for a label, by choosing the style and color tab from the dialog box of “Edit Placemark”. If you want to set the color, you need to click on the Color swatch and select color using the standard color selectors. You can even select preset colors in several ways. User can even change altitude settings. Altitude values are set around items in a placemark folder using the shared styles and a combination of height settings for all items of a folder. You can even define a single style for a folder or you can apply style elements to all the items of the folder, if you want them to have the icon, line and label appearance.
By clicking on Share Style button, you enable style sharing for all items of a folder. If you position various altitude options for each item of that folder, altitude option for that placemark folder points to a setting of “mixed modes”. If you change the altitude settings as well as the style for a folder, style sharing is automatically disabled for that particular folder.
In Google Earth, though you have cleared all the search results, you can again view them by saving them. You just need to drag and drop your search result item from the results panel within places panel. You can even save your image in the resolutions like 1000 pixels and screen.
