How to make movies with Google Earth
Google Earth is a software that enable it user to view 3D imagery of various places around the world. It is possible to make movies using Google Earth. Movie maker feature does support a variety of movie file formats:
Audio video interleave (Linux and Windows only) - Movies that are created in this format are uncompressed. Standard Quality movie: With the help of this option, you can adjust visibility of overlays and icons while your movie is recording. For instance, you can use this option for displaying an overlay of a website plan. With this option, frame rate depends on your computer's graphics card, which generally slows down by making movies.
High Quality movie: In case you are interested in displaying the movie on a very large screen, these high quality recordings are the best option. You can use this option to get the best quality movie recording. Each frame is downloaded completely to the client of Google Earth before the movie is recorded thereby maximizing image quality. That is why recording time comparatively is slow. Unlike standard quality movie, users don't have to monitor actual recording of their movie.
Note that high quality movies are able to play back only tour points. You cannot interact manually with 3D viewer, when you are using high quality option. Movie making feature is available to users of Google Earth EC products and Google Earth pro.
