Is navigating in Google Earth a simple task?

Google Earth allows you to view Earth planet and its beautiful terrain in 3D viewer. It is extremely n easy task to navigate through Google Earth. The process does not involve use of any sophisticated instruments. However there are a number of ways that can be used to navigate through this software. The easiest way for navigating from one location to another is by using a 3 button mouse. This simple device allows you to tilt the terrain as well as manipulate the existing 3D view. You can also reset the view as set it as you like.

Using a mouse: Do you want to use the mouse for navigation? A few things need to be done correctly in order to use the mouse. You will have to position the cursor accurately in middle of 3D viewer. Do you want to rotate the view? For that your mouse must have a scroll wheel or a middle button. Do you wish to drag the view in the direction you want? Do you wish to zoom in to get a detailed view of a particular place? Are you looking to go around from a vantage point? All these activities can be done by simply moving the mouse and pressing the left or right mouse button.

Would you like to change the shape of cursor? This completely depends on the mouse button that you press. For moving the view in west, east, south or north direction, you will have to position the cursor on viewer and then press main mouse button. When you perform this action, the cursor icon will transform from open hand to closed hand. The cursor looks like a hand. So for viewing new portions of the globe, you will have to drag the mouse. In case, at ground level, you can use the S, A, D, W arrow keys. Using the mouse cursor, press the arrow keys to move around. Another way to move the view is to use “move joystick”.

Is there an easy way to drift across the Earth continuously?

A simple way to achieve the above action would be to use the left button of the mouse. Holding the left mouse button down, you will have to move the mouse for a while and then immediately release the button. To stop the motion, you will have to click once in 3D viewer.

For zooming in, what better way than taking the help of the mouse? With the computer mouse, you can zoom in, in a variety of ways. Double click on any point in 3D viewer and you will zoom in accurately to that point. A single mouse click and you can stop zooming in. If you double click, you will be able to zoom in more. For scrolling towards your direction, take the help of scroll wheel. You can use the scroll wheel and ALT key to zoom in by small increments

For zooming out, you will have to use the right button Just press right mouse button and double click on any point to zoom out.
