As you know that the graphic card is device that enables the computer to procedure and transfer graphics, video and animations. It is also known by different names such as video car, video adapter or display adapter. They are also available in many varieties. Different models require different drives and software. They also have different range of power. So, before downloading or installing any card on your computer you have to decide which graphic card you require and then you can free to choose and buy or install. Some systems support while some system do not.

You may not use 3Dfx graphic cards. These cards are not tested because it requires Microsoft windows 98. And now, this window is not available; therefore you cannot use it. ATI graphic cards are well known. These cards contain many good features. They are available in various versions and models. They require special device or Microsoft windows. ATI 340 IGP supports to driver 6.14.10.6422 or onwards. If you have DirectX then this cards works better with that. But does not support to Open GL. ATI 340 IGP Rage Pro, XPERT 2000 these are some categories of ATI graphic cards. These graphic cards do not support other drives except OpenGL and DirectX.

If you want use 32 Bit True color for mailing images, printing, and movie making you need other graphic cards like ATI Rage 128, Rage 128 Pro. But keep in mine these graphic cards work better with DirectX drive. You can use these graphic cards to shade better way on buildings instead of flats. DX gives you better result. Therefore it is also recommended for shading on buildings. Here you cannot use OpenGL with these drives.

There are some categories in Intel graphic cards, which have compatibility issues with Google earth. Intel 810/815 is one of the graphic cards of Intel that requires new drives such as 6.13.01.3196 and onwards. While you use such kinds of cards with DirectX you have to know some problem related to cards so that you will use it better way. DirectX does not support to 24bit screen mode. So you need to have 16-bit screen. You can also use this graphic cards with 3198 and windows XP-SP2-RC2 running OpenGl crashes. It does not need to download Xp-Sp2 on you computer with this card. If you try to change in setting while you working it will affects internal parts for example your image may corrupt. To avoid this problem you have to restart your computer.

Some Nvidia graphics cards are work with Google earth, which have better compatibility. Following are some of the categories of Google graphic cards.Almost all Nvidia graphics cards require 6177 drive or onwards. Current versions of Nvidia graphics cards are also available on websites. Some graphic cards have problem while you use it with other parts. For example Nvidia GeForce MX-400 works good with DirectX but when use it OpenGl for printing and movie making it creates slight problems. Nvidia Quadro cards can also works well with DirectX but have creates some problems when you use it for movie printing, movie making, and mailing an image.
