Basic Difference between Google Earth and Google Map:
Google launched many software and programs. Many names of the software and programs of the Google start with the same name that is “Google” and ends with different words such as Google Earth, Google Earth Pro, Google Map, Google Pack etc. Therefore many users confused about the names and their functions. For example Google Earth and Google Map apparently seem similar. Some users may think that there is no difference between them.
Sometimes the word “Map” is used as synonym for the word “Earth” or “Planets”. Sometimes user may laugh while sometimes user may angry at itself when he/she realizes the difference. Both the software collects same geographical information about Earth from the satellite. They collect information such as the location of hotels, buildings, their directions, roads, and their maps. But the basic difference is that the Google Earth is more powerful software than the Google Map.
Google Earth has more powerful and interactive tools that provide more synergistic information. Comparatively Google Map has fewer tools. User has limitations to learn more about location or specific place. Google Earth provides fast and quick service. Its exploration power gives clear zooming facility. So you can view any image of any location from different angles with vast and high rotation command.
Common user and professional or commercial, both users can use the Google earth. Google Earth provides measure facility. It is easy to measure distance of any area and specify the place with markings. You can also import your own data to the Google Earth. There are three new editions of Google earth. One is reserved for common user. Any user of Google earth can use this version with free of cost. This is basic version of the Google earth. Second is personal version.
You can use this version on payment basis. You have to pay few dollars for a year. Any small businessperson or trainee researcher can use this version. It is must for them if they need geographical data. And there is third version that cost more than the second version.
If you want to use the Google Earth, you must have new operating window systems, for example windows 2000 or windows XP. Other operating window systems, which are before windows 2000 or windows XP do not support to Google earth. If you are the member of Google Earth Plus or if you already have installed the Google Earth Plus on your current machine, you can use non-subscription version easily. You have to install the Google earth on another machine separately and try for non-subscription version of Google Earth. You cannot use this version without Google Earth Plus.
If you have Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can open the Google Earth window by using small step. Go to Microsoft Internet Explorer and click on tools you will get a list of Internet Options. Choose advanced Internet Exploration and you will receive an instruction under the Browsing heading and click on OK tab to exit. After exit refresh your machine.
