About Live Search Local Listing Center

The Live Search Local Listing Center enables users to include, edit, or remove the information regarding their business, which is shown in search results on Live Maps with the help of the center. In this way, you can help your clients to find your business by adding details like services offered, working hours, or contact numbers.

Apart from that, clients who use Live Maps can also browse, search for your business online, or can look photos of your business that are uploaded by you. People can also use your listing-information to connect your website or to send you an e-mail.

How do I view my listing?

You can view your listing on Live Search Maps at any moment. However, you will be only to view your listing only after you have confirmed it. Generally, it takes up to 48 hours to appear your listing on Live Search Maps. If you want to view your listing, then first go to the Live Maps website. After that click on there Business category. Then type your business name as well as postal code or city name in the search box. Then press Enter and you will get connected to the business listing link.

How do I edit my listing?

Once you have submitted your listing to the portal, then you can manage it at any moment. For editing your listing, just come back to Live Search Local Listing Center and make there whatever changes you want to make. Before editing your listing, you will have to sign in there with your Windows Live ID. Then you can do anything like edit your listing, select categories, review your listing, and remove your listing. Click on Edit Listing for editing your listing. Then make the changes that you want to make to your information. Once you have made the changes simply click on Submit tab.

How do I remove my white pages listing?

If you think that your personal information should not be listed in Live Search Maps’ search results, then you can do it at any time. Once you fill up an online form for removing your white pages listing, Live Maps will immediately remove it from the site.

While doing this, first go to the Live Maps website. Then enter your name and the city with postal code in the search box. After that press enter or click on the search button. Then click the numbered pushpin beside your name in the results list. You can also click your pushpin on the map and then click on Remove my listing tab. At last, type the characters that you look in the picture into the Characters box, on the Remove-out confirmation page. Then click on Remove tab and your listing will be removed from the site. However, everyone should note that it may take up to 48 hours or two days for the listing to be removed from Live Maps.
