The new version of Google Earth
Recently, Google Earth has released new version, which has become very popular, thanks to its ocean layer. A wealth of new information has been added in NASA World Wind. Once, you open Google Earth 5, you will experience its new interface changes. Indeed, this is very exciting. This new version is also called Google Ocean. It contains 3D bathymetry. The imagery of ocean floor displayed in Google Earth 5 is in 3D. The imagery is no more 2D relief map. When you hover your mouse cursor over the ocean, you will be able to view sea level elevations. The values are negative, i.e. the numbers are negative as the elevation measured is below level.
Google Earth 5 is indeed an exciting stuff that you would love to install. The real excitement is when you start flying slowly towards the ocean. When you tilt the view, you will be able to see the ocean surface. Ensure that you have a powerful graphics card; otherwise, you won't be able to see the wave motion. You will be seeing the waves on the ocean surface in Google Earth 5, provided your graphics card is good. It is a pleasure to use this software piece and you will experience it, when you get a chance to fly under water.
