PC system configuration
In the PC system requirements there are two things that come in picture, one is the minimum system requirements and the other is the recommended system requirements. They are listed as follows.
minimum system requirement
The operating system that is loaded can be the windows 2000 and the windows XP. The CPU should be the Pentium 3,500 MHz. The Random access memory should be 128 MB. The hard disk should have 400 MB free space. The network speed should be 128 Kbits/sec. the graphic card should be 3D-capable with the 16 MB of VRAM. The screen should be 1024x768, 16 – bit high color.
The Recommended configuration of the PC system
The recommended system configuration is that configuration that can result in the smooth functioning of the Google Earth Software. It is more recommended to have the windows vista or windows XP operating system. The CPU requirements are the Pentium 4 2.4 GHz + or AMD 2400xp+. The random access memory should be 512 MB. The hard disk should have 2 GB free space. The Network speed should be 768 Kbits/sec. The graphic card should be 3D capable with 32 MB of VRAM. The screen should be 1280x1024 and should include 32 bit true color.
Mac system configuration
Minimum configuration of Mac
The Mac operating system also requires the minimum and the recommended configuration. The operating system requirements is the Mac OS X10.4.0. The CPU should be G3 and 500 MHz. The random axis memory should be 256 MB. The Hard disk should have 400 MB free space. The Network speed should be 128 Kbits/sec. The graphic card should be 3D capable with 16 MB of VRAM. The screen should be 1280x768 and should include thousands of color.

The operating system requirements is the Mac OS X10.4.5. The CPU should be G4 and 1.2 GHz. The random axis memory should be 512 MB. The Hard disk should have 2 GB free space. The Network speed should be 768 Kbits/sec. The graphic card should be 3D capable with 32 MB of VRAM. The screen should be 1280x1024 and should include Millions of color.
Linux system configuration
Minimum configuration of Linux
The Kernel should be 2.4 or later. The glibc should be 2.3.2w/NPTL or later. The xFree86-4.0or x.org R6.7 or later. The CPU should be Pentium 3 and 500 MHz. The random axis memory should be 128 MB. The Hard disk should have 400 MB free space. The Network speed should be 128 Kbits/sec. The graphic card should be 3D capable with 16 MB of VRAM. The screen should be 1280x768 and should include 16 Bit color. This configuration works on many operating systems like the Ubuntu 5.10, Suse 10.1, Fedora core 5, Linspire 5.1, Gentoo2006.0, Debian 3.1, and red hat 9.
