Adding a business listing
After providing your business information, the next step is selecting categories for your business. The procedure for doing so is as given below.
a) Go to the all tab named all categories. Form there, you can choose one or more categories from the list provided over there. Alternatively, you can also make use of the search box. Just enter an appropriate keyword related to your business and then click search. You will get a list of categories in the results tab. From this list, you can choose your categories.
b) If you want to choose more than one categories you can also arrange them in the order of their importance or as you would like them to appear with your listing. For doing so, chose the option named categories associated with to your listing (in the order of importance). You will get the list of categories that you have chosen. You can click and select any one of them and then drag it other a particular position in the list. You ca also delete any category if you want.
c) When you have done with arranging the categories, you can click next and continue.
d) Some categories like hotel, restaurant, etc, need a further description. Therefore, if you have chosen such a category for your business Live Search Maps provides you the facility to describe it further.
e) Lastly click next once more.
Step 3 - when you have provided your business information category in the first tow step sit is important to review all information provided by you. If there are any mistakes, you should correct them before you proceed any further. Such mistakes can cause of inconvenience to you as well as your clients. Things that you need to do during reviewing your listing are given below.
a) First, check whether the business and category information provided by you is correct. If you find any mistake in any of the sections, go on clicking previous until you arrive at that section. Then you will be able to edit it.
b) If the location of business is not displayed correctly on the map, you can click and hold the pushpin for your business location and then drag it to the correct location on the map.
c) When you are fully convinced that all sections are correctly filled and the location is correct, you can click next to continue.
Step 4 - reviewing the terms of service agreement and privacy policy.

You should go through the service agreement, and the privacy policy, both of which you can find, on the website itself. When you are fully convinced that you can abide the service agreement and the privacy policy, you can click the option “I Accept”.
After this, the last step would involve confirming your application for adding your listing. This is a very important step as this prevents the unauthorized users form submitting your listing.
