Adding a business listings to Virtual Earth

a) To add a listing to virtual earth first you may need to sign in using your windows live ID. Note that you may not be able to proceed unless you sign in through your windows live id. If you do not have any windows, live ID you will have to create one.

b) In the section for filling up your contact information, fill in the contacts at which you would like the clients to contact you.

c) Similarly in the section for providing your basic information fill out the basic information about your business.

d) Then the next section is for providing any additional contact information. In one or more of the sections for providing contact information you can add up to six items.

1.In the section for providing supplemental numbers, just click on option that says add number and then you can add your numbers.

2.Similarly, in the section for providing supplementary web pages, click on the option for adding web addresses and then you can add your web addresses.

3.And in the section for adding supplementary email addresses, click on the option for adding additional email addresses and then you can add any extra email addresses.

e) After this comes the section for adding hours of operation. In this section, you can provide the hours during which you would like to be contacted by clients. When you will click on the option for doing so, you will get a list of hours and you just have to choose form this list. Similarly, there is list of days along with checkboxes besides each day. Just check the boxes besides the days on which your business remains closed.

f) In the section for providing the payment methods, you can choose the types of payments that your business will accept.

g) You can also upload a photo, which you think can enhance your listing. For uploading your photo just visit the photos section and there you can browse and search for photos. Just select the one, which you like, open it and then click the option to upload it.

Moreover, you can also add a caption box beneath your photo. If you have selected more than one photo, you can arrange your photos according to a preference order. Note that you can upload at the most 10 photos and the size of each of these photos can be up to 5MB.

h) The next section is for providing additional information. You can add just any informant, which you and think can be helpful for your listing. The sub sections for adding additional information are the brands that business deals in, specialties and professional affiliations. Note, if you have provided more than one entries in any of these sections you have to separate them with semicolons to avoid confusion.

i) You can also provide the contact information of a person whom you can trust and the client can contact in case they are not able to contact you. For this go the professional contacts section and there chose the option for adding additional contact information.
