Adding business listings on the local listing center of live search maps
If you have a business or you are working for a business, you may be aware of the importance of marketing for any type of business. Live search maps would provide you a very good way of marketing your business. It has a local listing center where you can list your business. The local listing center is visited by several users of live search maps. Therefore, if you add your listing over there it will be visited by these many people. Some of them may get interested in your business and in this way; you would be able to find clients for your business.
Anybody can add his listing on live search maps. What’s more to it, is that it is an absolutely cost free way of marketing your business. Adding a business listing is very simple. The procedure for doing so is as given below.
Step 1: adding your business information.
a)Visit the website of the local listing center of live search maps.
b)There choose the option for adding a new business listing. On doing so, you will see an online form. Fill out this form. It has different columns for your business information. Note that whatever business information you are providing should be absolutely correct and genuine. When you have finished with the filling up of the all the columns you can click the option for checking your listing.
c)Then you need do one of the following things.
1)If your business information is similar to any of the listings, which already exist over, there, you can click on such a listing and then click continue.
2)If there is no listing having similar information as for your business, choose the option for creating a new listing and then click continue.
3)If you do not see any listings at all, when you click the option for checking your listing, you can click continue directly.
d)You may be asked to sign in to the live search maps. For this you will have to use your windows live ID. Note signing in is very important and therefore you will definitely need a windows live ID. If you do not have a “Windows Live ID”, you will have to create one.
e)When you sign in to the Live Search Maps, go to the section for filling up your contact information. in this section fill the contact information at which you would like to be contacted.
f)Then go to the section for filling up the basic information. Here fill up the basin information for your business.
g)You can also provide any additional contacts. These would be useful to the clients to contact you if you are not available at the contact that you have provided. You can provide maximum six items in each of the following categories.
1.Phone numbers: You can add up to six additional phone numbers in the supplementary phone numbers section.
2.Web Addresses: You can add up to six additional web addresses in the supplementary web pages section.
3.Additional email addresses: You can provide up to six additional email addresses in the supplemental e-mail section.
