The responsibilities that the users should follow while using the Live Search Maps
a) The users should always take care that whatever they do should not provide any type of harm to any other user of the Live Search Maps. Also, remember that if children are using the Live Search Maps then they should do so under the guidance of their parents. This is epically necessary while posting something on the Live Search Maps.
b) The responsibility of the collections, business listings, and other materials of the users does not lie with the Microsoft and the Live Search Maps. Therefore, you should decide whether to display your information in the collections or not. In addition, whatever information you provide in them is the sole responsibility of yourself and therefore you should carefully include whatever you include in them.
c) In addition, it is your responsibility to read the code of conduct and then follow the rules mentioned in it. Also, take a note that the Microsoft may review the rules at any time. Therefore, you should be in touch with the code of conduct and take a note of the new rules or the changes in the old rules.
Rules for the users of the 3D Map Tour Video
Though the Microsoft allows you to create a 3D Map Tour Video using your content from the Virtual Earth 3D.
As long as you follow all the conditions from the code of conduct, the Microsoft grants you a license for using and displaying the content from the Virtual Earth 3D for creating the 3D Map Tour Videos and sharing the videos created by you. However, the videos that you create should be strictly for a non-commercial purpose or personal use. Also, remember that the license that it provides is personal, not exclusive and not transferable.
Also further note that the broad rights that the Microsoft offers to you for creating your own videos can be at any time and without any reason be suspended by it. It reserves the right for doing so and therefore you cannot agree with it in such a case.

If you are a developer and want to use the Live Search Maps for developing software for smaller applications, you may see further information at the link “Virtual Earth API SDK terms”. For this, you may also get to do so free of cost.

However, there are some conditions, which you should follow if you intend to do so. They are as mentioned under. You should not do any of the following things. However, you can do so only if you have an explicit authorization for doing so. Also, remember that you should not, violate any terms and conditions of the Virtual Earth or the license agreement for doing so.
a) You should not access any fundamental map data or photographic imagery using the methods other than the ones, which Microsoft would provide to you.
