Live Search Maps reporting abuse, and marking place of interest
Exploring the world is always been fun for everyone. There are hundreds of ways to explore the world. You can take help of maps, TV programs, books, and internet. However, there are certain program and softwares dedicated to roam you around the world. Virtual Earth is one of that which I snow helping business personals to grow their income.
If you come to know that the details page of a particular business are wrong or some user has violated the Live Search Maps code of conduct, in their business review, then you can report it to Live Search Maps. The team of Live Search Maps will surely take appropriate action against it. The procedure for doing this is as follows.
a)First access the Details page for the selected business and then from the options click “Report incorrect information”.
b)Then on the “Types of feedback” list, choose the type of feedback which you are providing.
c)Then in the feedback box you have to mention the information which you find wrong.
d)Then lastly, click “Submit” for completing the form.
The procedure for reporting abuse is as given under.
a)Click “Report Abuse” on the Details page, under the review which you want to
report.
b)Then complete the form and lastly click “Send”.
Notes: Your whole feedback will be reviewed by Live Search Maps. However Live Search Maps wont send you a personal response for your feedback.
Marking points of interest on Live Search Maps
For marking your points of interest on the map you can use pushpins. The procedure for creating a pushpin is as follows.
a)Access Live Search Maps with your windows live ID.
b)Then right click on the map, on the exact location which you want to mark. From the options choose “Add a pushpin”.
c)Then in the dialog box; “Edit item properties”, choose the collection which you wan to add a pushpin to.
d)You have the following options for adding to pushpin.
Title: You can give a relevant title i.e. name to the pushpin. You can give the original name of the location or you can also give any name you want. The only thing you need to consider is that the name should not be more than 100 characters.
Notes: You can give a description of the location, which you have marked with the pushpin. This description will be very useful to the other viewers who are going are going to view that pushpin.
Photo URL:You can provide a link to a photo for that location. For example when you put a pushpin for your house, you can give a link, which would take viewers to a location containing photo of your house. Thus the viewers will be able to know much more about the place you have marked on the map.
URL for more information: Similar to a link for photos, you can also place a link for a website providing more information about that location. For example if you make a pushpin for a zoo, you can link that zoos website.
After you add the things which you want, click “Save”.
