Searching a location
For searching a location, access the live search maps. The home page of live search maps has a search box. In this search box, enter the name of the locations, which you want to search. There are options for below the search box. The option ‘Locations’ as well is present over there. Choose it by clicking on it and then click ‘Search’.
The live search maps will display the list of locations having that name. The location, which you desired also, would be there in that list. From this list, choose the appropriate one.
Alternatively, you can also enter the address of the location if you know it. You have the following options for entering the address.
You can enter a full address if you know it completely. This is the best way to search for the location. This is because more details regarding the address are entered live search maps will take you directly at the exact location.
You can also enter a partial address if you do not know the whole address. In this case though the live search maps would not be able to take you to the exact location it will take in the region in which it is located. If you browse through map of that region you can located your desired place.
Moreover, you can also enter a name of a famous place or neighborhood in that region. This will aid in finding that location as well and so you will get the most appropriate results.
Searching for a business
Searching for a business is a very useful feature, which the live search maps offer to the users.
For this first access, the live search maps and in the search box enter the name of the business, which you want to search. If you type only the name of the business, live search maps will display all the business, which are listed with that name. However, you can limit the search results by mentioning the location.
You can also enter the category for a business. If you do so, live search maps will display all the businesses in that category. In this case, as well you can limit the search by mentioning the desired location.
After you, mention that appropriate search terms in the search box you can choose the option ‘Business’ present below the search box. After this click on ‘Search’
Searching the live search maps for a collection
Collections too are very useful offerings from live search maps. They contain very useful information about the different places on the maps.
For searching for a collection access, the live searches maps and then in the search box enter the search query i.e. a keyword. This keyword should be related to the type of collection, which you want to find. The keyword should be appropriate as the search results would depend upon it. For this, you have to be careful. In this case, as well, for limiting the search you can enter the desired location.
After you enter the keyword, choose the option ‘Collections’ by clicking on it. Then click ‘Search’.
