Removing your listing, editing it and searching Local Listing Center
You can also remove yourself as the administrator of the listing. In such a case, the listing would no longer be associated with you and you would not be able to manage it. However, if you want you can do it by again going through the PIN verification process. The procedure to remove the listing or yourself as the administrator for the listing is as follows.
Go to your listing, which you want to remove. Besides, you will find the option or removing it or removing yourself as the administrator.
a) Click on the option, which you want.
b) Then again, click ‘Remove’ for confirmation.
Note: when you have confirmed the removal of that listing, it may still appear on Local Listing Center for up to 48 hours as this is the maximum time, which may be required for the changer to come into effect.
Editing your listing
As your business will grow or even if not so you may need to update your listing in the future. Local Listing Center provides you this facility so that you can at anytime update or edit your listing. You can add information, photos, etc to your listing.
Editing your listing is similar to creating a listing. Just find your business listing on the Local Listing Center and then you can edit your business information, categories, business location, etc.
After doing the required editing again, go through the service agreement and privacy policy. If you find them all right, you can click the option to accept them. Then submit your listing and confirm it.
Note this time also, it may take a maximum of 48 hours for the changes to come into effect. Also, note that, in some cases, you may be provided, only one verification option.
Searching Local Listing Center for finding business people collections or locations
You can also use Live Search Maps and the Local Listing Center for the finding people businesses, locations, and collections as well. Collections are created by other users. The users add different type of content in their collections and therefore they are very interesting. The procedure for searching for these things is as given below.
a) Open the Live Search Maps website.
b) There you will find the search maps box. Under this search maps box there are different options like people businesses, locations, and collections. Click the one which you want.
c) In the search box, you can enter one of the following things.
For finding a business enter the name of business or category
For finding a person, you can enter the name of the person
For finding a location, you should enter the full address, partial address neighborhood, or landmark.
For finding a collection, you can enter the name of the collection or a category.
If you are searching for a location and if you want to get more relevant results, you should type s the address more clearly. For this, separate the lines in address, using commas. Moreover, try other type in as much details as you know.
d) When you have entered the search terms as described below you can click search maps option or just press ENTER key.
