The Microsoft people have been upgrading the Virtual Earth 3D. There are some features which were not available in the original version of Virtual Earth 3D i.e. they are its new features that are available in the upgraded version. These features are improved 3D buildings, export to KML, improved 3D modeling and bird’s eye view, movie capture, real-time traffic, improved KML support and map Cruncher integration.

For the improvement of the Virtual Earth 3D these new features have been added by the Microsoft people and for the addition of these features, the other related modifications have been made and thus the quality has been enhanced.

For example, the 3D buildings have been improved by upgrading the resolution of the texture, increasing the coverage range to suburban areas as well and the trees have been included. They have improved the 3D modeling tool and 3DVidia. In the bird’s eye, view the street or map labels can be seen which makes it a better feature. In addition, they have integrated the map Cruncher application with the Virtual Earth 3d and with this application the photos and maps can be placed on a location very precisely. For the real-time traffic feature, they have added a new application for traffic, which is called Clear Flow, and this predicts the traffic pattern according to the traffic data provided. All these features are significant upgrades to Virtual Earth 3D and make it very impressive.
