World Wind NASA is a fully interactive globe with great capabilities and number of different sections. First, visit the website and go to download section. When you go for shortcut keys, you need to use Ctrl key with W, A, S, D keys. For zooming, use scroll wheel to go up and down. WorldWind NASA offers number of features. One of the most popular features is SRTM. Combining LandSat& with Shuttle Radar Topography Mission will give dramatic view at eye level. It produces visually intense animations for its users to demonstrate variety of subjects like hurricane dynamics, seasonal changes worldwide. There is another functionality called MODIS that will enable you to produce set of time relevant data that gets updated every day or you can say after specific time intervals. You can easily customize view by your interest of information by marking them directly on the World Wind NASA maps. There are different color coded markers that will enable user to download full image and you will be able to save on desktop.
MODIS can use publication quality material and provide images with resolution of 250 m per pixel. This will enable you to download every day not only new images but also updated one. Turn on the “tour mode” and skim through any number of samples.
