World Wind NASA is a fully interactive globe with great capabilities and number of different sections. First, visit the website and go to download section. The single left click will let you go to any point on the earth. It will automatically take you to that particular place. To rotate around the globe just drag the mouse to right or left as you want. It will spin the perspective but single right click won’t work in mode. When you go for shortcut keys, you need to use Ctrl key with W, A, S, D keys. For zooming, use scroll wheel to go up and down. If your mouse don’t have scrolling wheel there is different method to navigate through mouse. Just hold mouse right and left after button clicking. WorldWind NASA offers number of features. One of the most popular features is SRTM. Combining LandSat& with Shuttle Radar Topography Mission will give dramatic view at eye level. You will literally fly across the any part of the world from anywhere. Moreover, you will get flying directions. It produces visually intense animations for its users to demonstrate variety of subjects like hurricane dynamics, seasonal changes worldwide. You can take these animations and play directly on the world. Even people who are not computer savvy can grasp the applications functionality and its features.

There is another functionality called MODIS that will enable you to produce set of time relevant data that gets updated every day or you can say after specific time intervals. MODIS covers fires, floods, dust, and smoke imagery from all over the globe. You can even observe volcanic activities through WorldWind NASA. You can easily customize view by your interest of information by marking them directly on the World Wind NASA maps. There are different color coded markers that will enable user to download full image and you will be able to save on desktop.
MODIS can use publication quality material and provide images with resolution of 250 m per pixel. This will enable you to download every day not only new images but also updated one. Turn on the “tour mode” and skim through any number of samples.
