Developments in world wind projects
There are number of developments in World wind project. Road map is one among them, which is an indication of near future in NASA World wind project. World wind product tracks all world wind issues and help in detecting bugs. As it is a free source application, it may contain bugs. It provides a bug list for world wind 1.3 to 1.4. If you have found any bugs in any application, you can discuss it in chat room. However, it is not sure that the developers will notice all the points every time. Therefore, world wind provides a separate page for reporting bugs called World wind issues.
Here your report will have a permanent page so that you can get suggestions from any user. For the developers the world wind issues help to find the existing bugs, track them and organize the and to get feedback from WW community members.
You can create an issue in the world wind issues main page. Then enter the summary of your issue. You can give priority to the issue according to the type. For bugs, enter all the steps that cause bugs including error messages.
Bounties section is a place where the world wind community members can offer cash or bounties. Though WW is a free application, such fund contributed by members will help in improving the quality of WW. The bounty payer’s decision will be considered as final in the implementation and completion of task. World wind will not create any contract disputes. It is only optional up to your faith. Plug in engine was added to World wind’s new version. So there is no need of third party library here after, it is the easy way of organizing all compilers. It executes all the scripts with same speed. It compiles scripts very fast. Yet there are some demerits. Firstly, it is not safe to use plug in engine as the script may remove the hard disk drive. To unload script assembly, you have to restart the World wind, every time, which is time consuming.
