Installing .NET before you start using NASA world wind

How do I reinstall .NET?

If you follow these instructions accurately, you can install the .NET on your computer. First, uninstall all .NET. Then delete Microsoft .NET in the Windows directory and in program files directory. After that, REBOOT it. Then start the World Wind install. When you start the World Wind installation, it should ask to install .NET, after that follow the further instructions. Again, REBOOT and start the World Wind installation. Then it will ask you to install DirectX runtime. When it asks for this, click on to the OK key. Again, start the World Wind installation. Now you have successfully reinstalled the .NET on your PC. You can also get more debugging help for reinstalling the .net. It will provide you with several verification tools, in order to ensure the .net is installed perfectly.

No Landsat icons or No Images in Layer Manager

If there are no Landsat images, icons or Zoom it options in the Layer Manager, test to ensure world wind can be connected to the Internet. All of these are downloaded when users start the World Wind.
