NASA - beneficial technology
NASA launched a series of satellites in the 1972 year. This was designed in order to view the changing conditions taking place on the surface of the planet earth. These innovative Landsat satellites are now being operated from last twenty years. The ability of viewing these changes taking place on the earth for such a long period offers precious data in the fields of wildlife preservation, agriculture, locating fresh water, monitoring air and water pollution, flood control, as well as mapping the growth of cities. Throughout the years, Landsat offered data regarding resource management to several users in the United States and other countries.
As the LandSat have a feature, through which it can sense the features of our beautiful planet earth form a remote location such as an orbit. This new technology is referred as remote sensing. This technology will be proved of great help to establish human colonies in other worlds, as well. The vegetable farmers throughout the world are undertaking the training regarding how to grow good quality crops without the use of soil. This method of growing crops without the use of soil is known as hydroponics. Soybean and wheat are grown already using this method. Growing food without soil is a promising and a challenging task for the long space flights, but NASA has overcomes it successfully.
NASA is a technology headed up its applications in almost every field. It is a very beneficial technology for humankind for feeding the world and other worlds too. Ripe, lush tomatoes are seen hanging towards the end of the boat ride in the land exhibit at the EPCOT Center of Disney. They are not placed there just for show or attraction. The Kennedy Space Center of NASA and the Disney world work in collaboration for a novel industrial and government research partnership.
