NASA plays an Important Role

The operation of NASA clearly indicates initiate the future in space exploration, aeronautics research and scientific discovery. In order to accomplish this aim, number of people is working across the world. While they were on their path to achieve this goal, they came across a numerous issues like what is there in space. What will we find? How to get there? What can we learn there?, etc and many such type of questions. By the mid of 21st century, the reach of NASA has spanned the universe. It is proposed that by the next twenty years, NASA will lay the foundation to send human beings not only beyond the earth’s orbit, but also further into space where they have never been in their lifetime. Its other pre-defined goals comprise of completing the international space station and retire the space shuttle by 2010. Start the robotic missions to the moon by 2008 and return people there by 2020. Persist with the robotic exploration of the Solar system and Mars and extend a team exploration vehicle along with the other technologies required to send the individuals further than the earth’s orbit. NASA has also put into practice the SBIR i.e. the Small Business Innovation Research and the STTR i.e. the Small Business Technology transfer programs. They recommend great prospects for high-tech; small companies along with the research institutions. All this contribute greatly in the research efforts that are sponsored by the government in the principal technology areas. It keeps on cheering the small business concerns to take full advantage of these vital sources of seed funding for the development of innovations. President Dwight D. Eisenhower established the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the year 1958. It developed a wonderful technology through the Gemini and Mercury projects that were needed for the journey. Today, the work of NASA is conducted in four principle organizations that are referred as mission directorates. These organizations are as follows: Science: it explores Mars, Moon, and the Earth, graphs the best route of discovery and reaps the benefits of Earth and space exploration for the entire society, as a whole. Aeronautics: it initiates and confirms the new technologies of flight that develops the ability to explore that has practical applications on the planet earth. Exploration Systems: it generates new spacecrafts and capabilities for the sustainable, reasonable and mechanical exploration. Space Operations: it offers significant enabling techniques for much of the NASA by the Space shuttle, flight support and the international space station. The constellation program of NASA is in the progressing stage again. It is budding a new space transportation system designed to travel beyond the low earth orbit to the formerly established presence of human beings on the moon. It then aims to proceed to go on the Mars and other such destinations. This unique program promotes science, exploration, commerce and US preeminence in space. It is a program that helps us to learn more about the universe by allowing us to explore it and see it for ourselves.
