Add-on IRI: you are able to view IRI datasets in world wind and with click on points can bring the graphs of variables like rainfall
Add-on: climate mapper: this plugin is very useful and this plugin is especially designed for world wind for providing project designers access for historical data and providing access for projection of climate change. This plugin is the result of USAID’s effort for developing their climate change adaptation Guidance manual.
Atmospheric halo: This plugin inserts atmospheric halo around our earth. I you want to use this plugin first you have to load the worldwind, then go to plug-ins menu, and click on load option. After this you must click on ‘atmosphere’ from load window and then press the Load button and then you will observe that the indicator, which is placed near ‘Atmosphere’, must turn into green so that you can safely close this plugin load window. Now you are able to see a halo around our earth. for choosing various version of the halo you have to right click on atmosphere lawyer by going into layer manager and then click propertied for changing the settings
GPS2WorldWind plugin: this plugin is very useful because by using this plugin you can perform various things such as you can create as well display the waypoints, routes and tracks. You can also import waypoints, routes and tracks from Google map or from PCX5, Ozi, and GPX explorer. You can display bitmap files such as TIFF, PNG, GIF and JPEG as maps for worldwind. There is no necessary of having GPS device for using this plug in.
Favorites plugin: This plugin is used for bookmarking your favorites places within world wind. For using this plugin, only you have to download the Favorites.cs file and then save this file in your plugin directory.
PlaceNameMaker: This plugin is created by canosso where you are able to add as sell as edit placemarks for worldwind. It works in world wind 1.3.2. In order to use this plugin you must first load world wind, then go to plug-in menu, and then click on load/unload window. After this, you have to click on ‘PlaceNameMaker” option and then press the load option and the indicator which is next to ‘PlaceNameMaker’ must turn into green.
Shiny marble: this plugin gives highlight effect for earth water surface. To use this plugin first load world wind and then go to plug-in menu and then click on load-unload window. After this click on ‘shiny marble’ under load/unload window and press the load button and the indicator which is next to shiny marble must turn into green.
