Virtual Earth location finder:
As the name suggests this plug-in is related to Earth which is present in this Plug-in so that this Plug-in of World Wind is called Virtual Earth plug-in. You can search for any location, which is present anywhere in the World. Your current or recent location is present based on the IP Address. You are able to find the location very easily.
How to find the location with the help of this Application:
Type the location which you want to find. World Wind will automatically concentrate on the latitude and longitude. If the location cannot be found then nothing will happen.
WWKontrol:
This plug-in which is possessed by World Wind allows all the users to control World Wind and also will give you an general idea of the location which is your recent position. Note that this script works only for World Wind version 1.3.2 and obviously the versions, which are higher in World Wind. This plug-in is called the WWKontrol.
If you want to install this Plug-in then you have to download one of the file, which is one of the three ZIP files. You can choose in these the larger and the shorter version in it. Version without a scrollbar is also present here. A version with tiny images with a tiny version is also present here. Choose any one form this and then unzip the file that you have chosen according to the versions, which you like.
If you want to start It then you have to first load the plug-ins and then WWKontrol. Then choose the tools menu, which is present in the tool menu item in WWKontrol. This will enable a form with a compass rose, a titilator, Mini World Map a few scroll bars and also a lot of buttons which are present in all different colors. Such is the flexibility of the buttons in different colors.
If by chance you are using a Small and tiny version you are bound to get an error message. This error message is in the format such as “Input string was not in a correct format”. If you want to go through this error then you can follow these steps. Firstly, start this plug-in at Latitude zero and Longitude also zero. This is will allow the display of a form, which is helpful for you to solve the Errors.
If you are in a larger version then you can go to another altitude. More over you can use a horizontal scroll bar which can be used for a wide range respectively. For example, it can be used for a range of 0 to 44646956 meters of range. In another version, which is present, you can input the altitude, which you want by utilizing a vertical scrollbar. The range of this Scroll bar is tremendous it ranges from zero to one million meters. This range is specially is applicable to the left from top to bottom. The range is 15000 meters to 10000o meters for outer space the altitude is 44646956 meters respectively. Note that graphical information about altitude is not available on a large scale.
