Language Add-on: This add-on as the name suggests is that it displays spoken languages for each country. The labels, which are presenting this application, are as follows:
The labels spilt in the order of first, second and third spoken languages. This is amazing advantage of this Add-on of NASA World Wind. This division can be seen by the users separately or in a combined way. The selection is made by using the layer manager.
Stocks: The stocks plug-in loads Stocks data from Yahoo Finance and displays it on the screen. So the information obtained from it is Authentic and not haphazard. This data is then displayed on the World Wind Globe.
Installation of Stocks Add-on of NASA World Wind: To install this soft ware Download the Stocks plug-in and double click to the file, which you have downloaded. Then follow the on screen prompts to install the plug-in.
Usage: To install the Plug-in load NASA World Wind then open the Plug-ins menu and click Load/Unload. Then you have to click on the Stocks option in the load and unload Plug-ins. After this process is complete then you have to press the load button. The indicator next to the indicator should turn green. This indicates that you can turn the Plug-in load/Unload Window safely.
If you want to load stocks then you have to go to Plug-ins>Stocks and then click Update stocks now. If by chance the Show percentage option is ticked then percentage values will be displayed instead of actual stock values. The increase in the stock value is shown in Green and the decrease in the stock value is shown in red color respectively. When you move the mouse over the icon, it will display information that is more detailed. Clicking the icon will display the relevant Yahoo finance web page.
The next Add-on is tectonic plates: AS the name suggests this add-on is related to the tectonic plates. This Add-on of World Wind Central displays the tectonic plates with their plate names. It is based on Authentic information obtained from ESRI, 1996, tectonic plates.
Planet Add-on: This Add-on of World Wind displays the planets. It is a simple Add-on, which can be activated in the layer manager, and you can choose a planet to view. This not a scientifically correct add-on it will contain it’s own discrepancies. The main objective of this Add-on is for the purpose Of Entertainment. This entertainment is to be meant for both the Adults and Children alike. Some educational interests of Children can also be fulfilled by this application. Therefore, this is a wonderful application, which can be used by a lot of people including teachers, students and for entertainment purposes, too. Even if the information is authentic, it is not false so you can remain tension free.
