The live search maps does not just provide maps and images of world but you can also use it for a number of other purposes as well. One of the several uses of live search maps is for increasing your business. Live search maps provides the facility of business listings. Either you can, list your own business or you can also find some business you in which you are interested.
Live search maps maintain an online directory of whatever businesses are listed on it. When a viewer is viewing maps and he searches for business live search maps displays the business listings for the current viewable area on the screen. As a large number of people are, constantly using live search maps there are great chances that you will find more business or yourself or find the business, which you are searching.
Adding a listing
You can list your business listing on the live search maps without paying anything. In this listing, you can include as much information as you like. Moreover, you can also include photographs, presentations, etc as well. Once you add you listing the users of live search maps will be able to view it. Therefore, if any of them is searching for a business, you are involved in and if he likes your listing, he may like to do business with you.
Procedure
1)While viewing live search maps go to the live search local listing center website.
2)Then from there choose ‘Add a new listing’. Fill out the genuine information about your business in the respective fields. Then choose the option ‘Check you listing’.
3)Then you will need to do one of the following.
a)If already exists a listing, which matches the profile of your business, directly choose that listing and click ‘continue’.
b)If there is no listing to match your business profile you should click ‘Create a new listing’, and then click continue.
c)If live search maps does not return any listings click continue.
4)If you are asked to sign in through Windows Live ID, you need to do so. However, if you do not have any Windows Live ID, click Sign up and create one.
5)Then in the section saying ‘Your contact information’ fill in appropriate contact information.
6)Then in the ‘Basic information’ section, fill the business information. As the name suggests the information asked is just basic information.
7)You can also provide some alternate or additional contact information. You can add at the most 6 items in each of the sections given bellow.
a)Phone numbers: in the section saying ‘Supplementary phone numbers choose ‘Add number’ and then you can do so.
b)Web addresses: for this go to the ‘Supplemental web pages’ section and from there choose the option ‘Add web address’.
c)Email addresses: for this go to the ‘supplemental e-mail’ section and choose the option ‘Add e-mail address’.
8)Then the next section is the ‘Hours of operation’. In this section, enter the hours between which you would like to be contacted or the operating hours of your business. For this, choose the hours from the list. In addition, if your business is closed on a particular day you should click on the check box of that day.
